In accordance with your lease agreement, whether or not a construction project is extensive or minimal, Landlord's approval is required prior to any construction or alterations occurring in your space. There are specific documents that must be reviewed and forwarded to the appropriate parties prior to commencement of any refurbishment.
Should you desire construction of any magnitude, please contact your Real Estate Manager to request the Construction Rules and Regulations. A list of preferred vendors will be provided.
The contractor is required to sign for receipt of and follow the Construction Rules and Regulations at all times. This document must also be available for viewing by all subcontractors while the construction is in process.
For all work, which requires a permit, you are required to retain an architect or designer, licensed in the State of Georgia, to prepare construction drawings.
